What if the guest doesn't show up?

You keep the 50% we released at booking confirmation. We bear that risk, not you. If the guest wants to rebook, that's handled by our team — you just need to confirm a new date.

What if they spend less than the gift card value?

You receive whatever the guest spends, up to the gift card value. If they spend $40 on a $60 card, you receive $40 across the two tranches. The remaining $20 stays as RibbonsXP credit for the recipient — it doesn't disappear.

What if they spend more than the gift card value?

They settle the difference directly with you at the venue, using their own card or cash. You receive the full gift card value from us plus the additional spend from the guest.

Do I need to install any software or integrate with my POS?

No. Nothing. We send you a booking notification by email. You confirm availability. The guest arrives. That's the full process.

How do I receive payments?

Bank transfer to your nominated account. We settle in your local currency — Naira, Cedi, Kenyan Shilling — via standard bank transfer. No crypto, no wallets, nothing unusual.

Can I set limits on how many bookings I accept?

Yes. You tell us your capacity and any blackout dates (public holidays, private events, low capacity periods) and we respect them. You're never obligated to accept every booking.

What if I want to leave the platform?

30 days written notice. Any outstanding bookings that have already been confirmed will be honoured for their agreed dates. After that, your listing comes down and any unreleased funds are settled.

Is there an exclusivity requirement?

No. You can remain on OpenTable, Google, Instagram, wherever you currently take bookings. We're an additional channel, not a replacement for anything you already do.

What types of bookings do you send?

Gift card recipients booking an experience they've been given as a present. They're motivated, they've already been gifted the credit, and they're choosing a date to come in. These are not casual enquiries — they have money to spend at your venue.
