How do I get from Kampala to Bwindi for gorilla trekking?

It's about 8–9 hours by road from Kampala to Bwindi. Most people drive down the night before, stay near the park, and trek in the morning. There's also a small airstrip at Kihihi (30 min drive from Bwindi) with charter flights from Kampala Entebbe — expensive but saves the road.
